30 Acres is a food service company that provides catering, family meal plans, corporate catering, and operates a cafe in Goleta. We also provide nutritional guidance and consultations to large institutions. Our team are experts in their field and pride ourselves in excellent taste, quality and customer service.
We offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our clients. Our catering services include both on-site and off-site catering, and we can cater to any event, large or small. Our corporate catering services include everything from breakfast and lunch to dinner and events. Our cafe in Goleta is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere, and we also offer a variety of take-out options.
Our Name and Chef Story
The name 30 Acres, is an homage to the 30 acre family farm that Chef Pedro grew up in. Located in Ecuador, it was a successful banana producing farm that was established by his Grandfather.
Pedro spent his early childhood surrounded by its beauty, where his family truly lived a farm to table lifestyle. Meals were prepared fresh every day by his grandmother, for all the farm hands and family alike, using fruits, vegetables, and proteins grown within the farm. With this has spent almost 30 years providing great meals around the country, at Event Sports Centers, Hospitals, Universities, and Restaurants. Most recently Chef Pedro was the Executive Chef at Cottage Hospital for 12 years.
Now Chef Pedro and his wife Ruth operate their catering, and food service program from their 30 Acres Cafe, open to the public Monday – Friday located at 7414 Hollister Ave. inside the techpark.
